The Principal Data Management Lead provides leadership and expertise in all aspects of Data Management.
Develop and manage timelines for study data deliveries, including Go-Live, Interim Deliveries, and Final DB Lock.
Collaboration with the relevant functions (Clinical, Biostatistics, Database Programming, Medical, Medical Writing etc.) across all geographies.
Data Managements single point of contact to ensure that the contracted Data Management deliverables are being met specifically in terms of timeliness, financial management and quality.The Principal Data Management Lead can competently and independently lead large, complex projects and/or programs with little to no guidance from their Line Manager and/or Subject Matter Experts.
Principal DMLs may act as a mentor for ADMLs, DMLs and SDMLs.
May act as Project Leader for projects, involving only Global Data Operations services.The Principal DML will be expected to act as an Account Lead for a client/area of business or Initiative lead on behalf of Data Management.
The Principal DML will provide leadership, management andexpertise to support all aspects of Data Management on the projects within that account.
In the Account Lead role, the Principal Data Management Lead will support DM management during the sales process,by leading client interactions, proposals input and contract review.The Account Lead manages or leads communication, governance, key performance indicator metrics, staff utilization and resource recruitment strategy/allocation across different regions, ramp-up plan, andperforms training modules if needed for the account within remit.
