Operations Manager – AC-130J Aircraft Modification – Site Lead

Job DescriptionLockheed Martin is looking for a AC-130J Aircraft Modification Manager / Production Operations Site Lead to provide leadership for all work performed for a Modification Maintenance Team. This role will lead multiple L-coded and non-L-coded leaders within the Production Operations leadership team. This leader will be responsible for accomplishing aircraft modification, to include all aspects of modification, test and development. They will provide on-site leadership direction, strategic operations and serve as the single point of contact for all aircraft maintenance and support personnel to the Fixed Wing Operations Senior Manager. In this role, the leader will ensure a fully staffed, trained and skilled work force are on the job performing applicable tasks within budget and contractual schedules. They will also be required to perform Cost Account Management (CAM) actions associated with all Modifications. On an as needed basis only, will interface with Program / Business Management on various actions to include reports, aircraft status updates, and budget metrics. In addition to aircraft modification responsibilities, the candidate will be responsible for customer engagement, coordinating with facilities for the site and the overall health and appearance of the Crestview Site. Crestview Site Lead also has oversight of the PMT’s assigned to the Crestview location and will be expected to provide support when needed to ensure their success. This position reports directly to the Fixed Wing Operations Sr Manager and will periodically be assigned as his/her delegate.Basic Qualifications* Aircraft / Task Scheduling experience* Microsoft Office Suite of Software (Word,PowerPoint, Excel, and Project) experience* Excellent oral and written communications skills* Ten (10) years aircraft management experience* Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)* Capable of working in a fast paced, demandingenvironment, providing independent thinking,problem resolution, and action with minimaldirect oversight by senior management
