As an Operations Manager you will manage overall operations and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the branch. Ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and look for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company’s policies and applicable laws.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration and sales to ensure a smooth branch operation.
- Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
- Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Address employee performance and corrective action plans.
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Take care of escalated client concerns.

- 5+ years of experience managing branch administrative operations including sales team support functions.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, executing daily and monthly reports of inventory count.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, solving logistical issues and analysis of future needs.
- Must be familiar with principals of Supply Chain Management, especially as it relates to management service supplies and rentals
- Must have previous experience being in a Support Service Management role, dealing with customers, handling of customer issues and refine/develop/implement processes to support customer satisfaction.
- Assist in and/or develop cost management programs and processes consistent with corporate and branch goals and objectives.
- Must possess knowledge of and be able to utilize and/or develop reporting and analytical tools in support of branch operations using Excel and Access.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising and managing a workforce, and be familiar with basic supervisory rules and regulations.
- Must be familiar with project management tools, methods and software/analytics.
- Ability to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 virus, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Background check is part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.
