Come and experience your future!This position is a full-time expatriate Subcontract Program Manager (SPM) temporarily located in Kongsberg, Norway (beginning April 2022) for the Norway P2078 NORSE Ground Based Radar Program.

This is a unique opportunity for overseeing and managing LMC’s teammate and subcontractor Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA), while interacting with the Norwegian Defense Materiel Agency (NDMA), and Norwegian Armed Forces (end customer).

This position is co-located onsite with KDA.

The expected tenure of this role is a minimum of two (2) years and may be extended for the mutual benefit of LMC, KDA as well as NDMA.

The SPM will be the primary Point Of Contact for Lockheed Martin P2078 NORSE Ground Based Radar Program living in Norway.

This role will functionally report solid line to the GBAS Subcontract Program Senior Manager and dotted line to the P2078 NORSE Ground Based Radar Program Office in Syracuse NY.The successful candidate will have a track record of early identification of supplier risk items, working with supplier leadership to develop a risk mitigation plan, and delivering a successful outcome.

The selected individual will be a self-starter that can utilize independent judgement to achieve program objectives and ensure on time delivery of supply chain subcontractor and supplier hardware.Basic Qualifications:
• The candidate will have 15+ years overall experience with a minimum of 5 years related subcontract and/or program management experience.
• Demonstrated project and supplier management experience.
• Must possess well-developed negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in subcontracting and procurement practices.
• Production and/or Manufacturing Operations Experience
• Ability to develop strong supplier relationships.
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Demonstrated ability to be accountable, reliable, and responsible for all aspects of an operation or project at a remote site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET and NATO clearance.Desired Skills:
• Experience with development programs and interfacing with customers for events such as Preliminary Design and Critical Design Reviews.
• Ability to interact with Norwegian customer on behalf of the Program Manager
• Experience working with suppliers designing and manufacturing large metal structures and shelters.
• Experience working with suppliers designing and testing software.
• Experience with managing international Firm Fixed Price contracts.
• Experience working with US export licenses.
• Experience with installation and testing of complex international systems.
• Technical knowledge of Ground Based Radar Systems and services supporting these activities.
• Proven success with subcontract negotiations yielding cost savings through creative methodologies.
• Cost account management (CAM) certification and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Contractor Logistic Services
