The Senior Case Manager of Mentoring is responsible for the administration of all community-based and site-based programming in conjunction with the other youth development staff, community, and school partners.
This includes direct oversight of mentoring programming and the management of associated grant requirements.
The Senior Case Manager of Mentoring will lead mentoring-related services in a way that fosters a culture of cross-sector programming as well as special events and fund development.
The Senior Case Manager will be responsible for recruitment and supervision of mentoring matches, Program Assistants, and interns.
The Senior Case Manager of Mentoring will accept and display the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, or Related Field; Master’s Degree preferred5-7 years of experience with children and families, program development, and community organizingA minimum of one year of supervisory/management experience requiredPrior success with non-profit organizations and community collaborationsExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointAdditional skills should include correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and business writing Experience with in-crisis youth and familiesAbility to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to sit down, stand up, walk up and down stairs and bend over during the course of the day.Must be an insured and licensed driver able to travel for occasional home visits, transportation of clients, and provider meetings, as well as able to pass pre-placement drug screen.
