The Manager – IT Center Growth (ITCG) leads a team of Project Managers to deliver a portfolio of new center openings and acquisitions. They provide oversight and guidance to the team in end-to-end delivery of KinderCare’s technology standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the resource assignments to ITCG portfolio projects and maintain team’s allocations in resource forecasting tools
• Partner with IT Portfolio & PMO governance in creating and driving meaningful delivery metrics
• Encourage team environment that fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, positive culture, talent growth and be comfortable with performance management to support successful delivery.
• Develop and monitor SMART annual performance goals and objectives for individuals and the team
• Collaborate with business partners by building great relationships and fostering trust
• Actively monitor portfolio risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
• Ensure the business impact and project objectives are identified, reported on and managed at all times
• Serve as IT Leader or partner with IT Leaders on specific projects to drive decisions and outcomes when needed

Education/Skills/Abilities/Leadership Requirements:
• Demonstrated success delivering multiple complex IT Programs (application, infrastructure, web, etc.) on time, within budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds business customer expectations
• Proven effective and engaging leadership style, creating an inclusive team environment fostering growth and results
• Clear history of risk management and mitigation
• Excellent influence and communication skills, including navigating difficult conversations with stakeholders & staff and ability to explain technically complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to effectively manage team of stakeholders throughout the organization
• PMP Certification highly preferred
