Linum Consult’s client is a software as a service operating in the construction sector.
They are looking for a Managing Director specialising in selling software solutions to the construction industry, to be based in the USA, working from home initially.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting and fine-tuning an effective Go-To-Market Strategy for North America Leading sales activities with target accounts (General Contractors/Heavy Civil Contractors), penetrating the market, and expanding the business Growing the company’s sales in North America by developing effective distribution and business partners: Identifying, selecting, qualifying, signing, training, and motivating new partners Supporting and managing partners to effectively sell the company’s solutions and growing their market share Supporting the company’s marketing activity in North America: Participating and representing the company at seminars, partners’ events, trade shows, conducting webinars, and leading marketing activities in the territory Identifying market trends, competition, and identifying market opportunities Advising on product priorities and positioning Leading the company’s USA subsidiary, including: hiring, training, and managing a local team
PROFILE
At least 10 years’ experience in the North American construction sector, with at least 5 years in Construction Technology or Construction Software in a sales and/or business development capacity Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and managing business partners Outstanding sales skills, with a proven ability to achieve Quarterly Sales Quota targets Strong relationships at VP level with top general contractors in the heavy civils domain, with any relationships with owners (such as DOTs), top construction management companies a distinct advantage Ability to work from a home office and travel extensively across the USA, ideal locations would include Texas, California, or Colorado Preferably have experience of drone-based analytics Excellent leadership qualities and teamwork skills, looking to fit into a small, start-up company culture
FINANCIAL PACKAGE
There is an excellent basic salary and commission structure along with an equity stake in the company for the right individual, including travel / car allowance, private medical and other benefits.
