Allsteel, an industry leader in workplace furnishings and a top brand in the HNI Corporation enterprise, is in search of a National Prefabrication Manager to join our team!
The National Prefab Manager will develop strategies that deliver high growth to Allsteel’s Architectural Products and prefabrication business.
The successful candidate will manage a high degree of partnership with Design, Product Development, and Project Management teams to execute those strategies.
The candidate will lead the coordination and development of integrated business solutions that may include product and service development, technology integrations, programs, process creation, and other initiatives to better position Allsteel’s building products and provide value to our key strategic partners.
Some of the essential aspects of the position include:
Leverage extensive knowledge of construction industry to target strategic opportunities for prefabrication product and service offering.
Create powerful value proposition that leverages HNI manufacturing capabilities into the construction process.
Proficient in BIM software; identify opportunities to adopt new technology and processes to integrate with BIM software and facilitate a better building experience for our clients and partners.
Effectively integrate Allsteel manufacturing capabilities into prefabricated construction solutions; strategically sell this value proposition to national construction companies and business leaders.
Develop an aggressive growth strategy focused on segmenting and targeting strategic partnerships within the prefabricated construction industry.
Partner with marketing team to develop customized presentations and other materials, as appropriate, for outreach and pitches.
Provide transparent feedback on how clients receive Allsteel’s value proposition, identifying and resolving gaps, and continuously improving our outreach materials and methods.
What it takes:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering Disciplines, Architecture, or a BIM related field; or 5+ years of equivalent experience; business experience preferred.
5 years of work experience with 2+ years of business leadership; P&L understanding preferred.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Strong communication.
Presentations, and customer service skills – (Written, verbal and virtual)
Demonstrable organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, business acumen and self-direction skills
