For more information, please visit www.firstam.com Job Summary The National Account Director is responsible for ensuring exceptional client service to our largest accounts and helping to meet revenue and other strategic account objectives.

This role represents the entire range of company products/services to assigned clients, while leading the client account planning cycle and ensuring assigned clients’ needs and expectations are met.

The individual in this role will represent the company at the senior executive level and understand business initiatives of assigned accounts, establishing superior relationships with senior and mid-level management.

5 years of work experience in the mortgage or finance industry in a Professional Services or consulting role In-depth knowledge of the mortgage lending process and mortgage loan programs Strong understanding of internal product/processes of large lending institutions associated with consumer or mortgage lending Essential Functions Serve as an adviser to clients and forecast /assist with cross-selling future initiatives, products and processes.

Proactively lead joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.

Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis.

Coordinate with Implementation team to develop solutions that best address client needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Identify and generate new business revenue opportunities Ongoing responsibility to build the customer relationship and servicing the customer’s needs Developing business contacts with lenders, servicers, investors, secondary market and hedge fund companies Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used Excellent professional verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to listen to customers and understand their needs and objectives to better respond and provide solutions Applies diplomacy and tact Demonstrates persistence, tenacity and consistency in pursuing revenues opportunities Flexible with the ability to adapt strategy to changing conditions Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities Ability to persuade and influence others Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
