The Strategy and Innovation team is tasked with developing and driving growth initiatives across all areas of the business, while also supporting the Executive Team with one-off and ongoing projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning and informing the long-term vision and direction of the company and sport.
Additionally, the team is responsible for identifying and analyzing innovative opportunities to propel NASCAR forward, whether improving existing areas of the business or exploring new opportunities for growth.Duties include, but are not limited to:Work directly with senior leadership, including developing and leading presentations to the Executive team to deliver results and drive the business forward.Analyze strategic and financial implications of strategic initiativesSynthesize broad and/or complicated topics into concise and impactful presentationsConduct research to identify industry trends and develop perspectives on the impact to NASCARPrioritize projects and confidently push initiatives forward with minimal oversightLead cross-functional efforts and ensure projects progress smoothly and on-timeFacilitate the annual NASCAR Business Planning process and track ongoing performanceDevelop strong internal relationships and network within the company and industryApproximate travel required 20%, including some weekend travelRequired Skills / Experience:Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 2-4 years’ related experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategic planning, or related roleAble to work on highly sensitive projectsStrategic thinking, a desire to challenge the norm and constantly pursue innovative solutionsEntrepreneurial mindsetFlexible to adapt to a dynamic industry environmentStrong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointStrong quantitative, financial and modeling skillsAnalytical; creative, effective problem-solving abilitiesStrong leadership and presentation skillsSelf-starterCreative-thinkerDetail-orientedApply Now!Learn more about this role and our team by applying at www.Careers.Nascar.Com for consideration.We are a company unlike any other.
