The role is to oversee a team of 7 technicians, providing them consistent direction, support and feedback.
Will plan, direct and inspect their daily tasks for accuracy.
Also, will assist the Manager of Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance with all the duties and responsibilities involving the asset renewal, service and repair of 500 plus School vehicles and equipment.
Will provide assistance in developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program for the fleet and other equipment.
Work schedule: Monday Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

It includes paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and financial benefits.Qualifications Associate’s Degree required.Minimum of 5 years working with vehicle maintenance and supervisory experience.Valid PA Driver’s License in good standing; CDL Class B, preferred.OSHA 30-hour Training, required.
Valid PA Class 7 Inspection License, required.Valid PA Emission License, preferred.
Prior experience and demonstrated skills in supervision and evaluation of vehicle inspections, service/repair and related maintenance programs.
Strategic planning skills including the ability to analyze data to formulate recommendations for budget planning.Experience working with various software programs, such as PeopleSoft/JD Edwards preferred.
Strong working knowledge in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Demonstrated success in analyzing opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies.Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills particularly in collaborating and influencing others.
Must be effective in working with several stakeholders, vendors and contractors.Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to manage effectively budget and distribution of items.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn in new, fast-paced & deadline driven environments and initiatives, be open to feedback, and adapt accordingly with a positive can-do attitude.
