PRIMARY PURPOSE:The primary function of a Poker Floor Supervisor is to attend to the needs of players and guests as necessary.
The Poker Floor Supervisor is the primary point of contact between guests and all poker services.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as a front-line ambassador, greeting guests while maintaining table waiting listSeat players in games and making rulings in games following proper departmental protocolUtilize all aspects of the Bravo Poker softwareStay informed about all Poker Division activities and eventsInput all player information into the database system and issue MLife cardsWork with tournament registrationPerform other job-related duties as requested KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Working knowledge of all currently popular poker gamesIs proficient in rules, policies, and procedures for both live gaming and tournament playAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAble to lead and mentor a teamExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years’ experience in Poker or any hotel/resort/casino related experienceWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays PREFERRED:Four (4) years guest service experience in a guest facing role within a hotel/resort/casino environmentExperience working in a similar resort settingBilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
