USA/CAN Objective Responsible for the Warehouse Management function relating to the warehousing, and distribution of materials to meet Company objectives.
This involves the responsibility of organizing, directing, training, and supervising, hourly Warehouse Attendants and administering Receiving, Warehousing and Parts repair.
Managing and monitoring the raw materials needed to keep the site in production as necessary.
Main Responsibilities
Manage the warehouse and receiving operations of the Company.
Responsible for the daily supervision and scheduling of the Materials Operation.
Ensure that the Company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Materials Operations.
Develops short and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, and staffingrequirements for the warehouse area
Responsible for identifying training and development needs of subordinates to optimize their performance.
Responsible for the Materials Operation safety program in order to provide a safe and clean workplace within the Company safety rules.
Responsible for inventory levels, turns and accuracy of the warehouses of the Company.
Responsible for understanding, communicating, auditing and ensuring compliance with all site,corporate, regulatory and procedural environmental, safety, security, health, quality and humanresources standards (for managers/supervisors).
Responsible for understanding and complying with all site, corporate, regulatory and proceduralenvironmental, safety, security, health, quality and human resources standards (for individualcontributors).
Responsible for the daily / monthly monitoring of raw materials (aluminum, and master alloys).Ordering materials as needed to make sure that plant has a constant flow for production.
As well asforecasting what is needed for the following month(s).
Position Requirements * Associate’s Degree, Trade, or Tech School also acceptable
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
Experience in a machining operation preferred Nemak USA, Inc.
