Materials Manager

NES Fircroft is currently looking to hire a Materials Manager to be based at our client location in the Gonzales, LA region on a multi-year construction project.

 
Primary Duties
Management of all materials for the turnaround group
Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates
Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
Assist in forecasting to plan future orders.
Interface with Maintenance and Operations department for materials
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree OR Professional materials management qualification
10+ years of relevant materials management experience
SAP Experience
Experience of managing large scale inventory value US$ 100m, more than 40,000 SKUs
Demonstrable experience in Materials Management
MS Office Proficient
Have a vast knowledge in SAP MM Module.
Planning and Scheduling
Knowledge of business principles and ethics
Time Management
Interpersonal Skills and Pro-active
