Marketing & Sales Program Manager – New Pool Openings

Big Blue Swim School (BBSS) is a fast-growing, mission-driven company that aims to show kids they can do anything by unlocking their full potential in the water. With 10 stores providing children’s retail-based swim lessons in the Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, and Virginia markets plus more than 120 additional franchise locations sold, the Big Blue Central Marketing team is expanding to further optimize and grow our already proven business model while developing a dominant, beloved brand.
We are seeking a Community Readiness Program Manager to join our New Pool Opening team to own the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and management of the sales funnel on behalf of multiple new pools each quarter around the country. You will utilize your project management capabilities, communication skills, and strategic thinking to deliver and exceed sales and marketing targets in alignment with the broader project timeline while working with both internal cross-functional teammates and franchise partners. A successful candidate will demonstrate intellectual curiosity partnered with analytical capability that drives them to optimize programs and processes to continually improve on our program KPIs.
Responsibilities and Duties

Own the integrated marketing program across digital and local marketing tactics with the aim to build awareness and conversion by delivering the appropriate messages to our target customer at the right time across channels.

Successfully deliver targets for each new location across the sales funnel, from lead generation through conversion and registration in our weekly lesson program.

Synthesize real-time data from multiple sources to report on progress to goal and highlight risks or opportunities to optimize campaign results, budgets, or processes. Must be able to frequently and comfortably leverage tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and clearly communicate insights and data to a variety of internal and external audiences.

Manage the marketing budget for each opening with an eye to key marketing spend metrics to ensure dollars are spent efficiently and effectively.

Develop positive, trusting working relationships with franchise partners, cross-functional project team, and senior leadership team with exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline.

3-5 years’ experience in marketing, project management, consulting, or a related field.

Demonstrated knowledge of marketing channels and capabilities including paid and organic social media, paid search, grassroots marketing, community management, email marketing, blog and web content, and SEO. Experience in content creation including email marketing, organic social media marketing, copywriting, graphic design, and more are a plus but not required.

Consistently leverages data, analytics, insights, and metrics to optimize programs and drive strategy and decision making in the service of hitting success targets. Demonstrated curiosity to drive continuous improvement using A/B testing. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar program.

Team player who is able to work with internal and external partners to successfully deliver programs on-time and on-target to reach sales and operational goals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills that informs and builds trust with a variety of different stakeholders. Must be comfortable leading and facilitating meetings, with proficient skills in Microsoft PowerPoint or similar program. Experience working in email marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Klaviyo preferred but not required.

Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and be agile in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to quickly drive impact on a small team as a self-starter who can thrive in a semi- or fully remote startup environment.
