Job Description 

We are seeking a Market Insights Manager reporting to the Director of Insights, Trends and Innovation.

You will be part of a high impact team consisting of experts that are skilled in marketing research and industry analytics, focused on improving performance of strategic areas of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in deploying Customer Satisfaction surveys and the ability to build industry reports to identify new areas of business or new areas of innovation for WestRock. 

As a leader in the paper and packaging industry, WestRock works across a variety of industry markets including beverage, foodservice, food, beauty and personal care, and e-commerce with the world’s largest brands and emerging brands.

The packaging industry continues to evolve to meet the needs of brand owners, retail channels, and consumers.

Your role will be responsible for advancing the understanding of our customer satisfaction and supporting course correct initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage WestRock’s Customer Satisfaction Survey, supporting its design, managing suppliers, executing the survey and coordinating results 

• Closely collaborate with the Customer Experience team on the satisfaction survey and course correct from results 

• Generate monthly trend reports 

• Partner with the Demand Generation and Industry Marketing teams to support the creation of dossiers (market intelligence) for opportunities with high margins

Qualifications: 

Highly capable in each of the following dimensions (among others): flexibility, adaptability, curiosity, resourcefulness, analytical thinking/problem solving, proactivity, collaboration, and technological savvy. 

• 5-7 years of research & analytics experience is a plus. 

• Knowledge of Customer research doing customer satisfaction surveys. 

• Knowledge of general research methodologies that include supplier management, sample design, survey development. 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to simply the complex for a variety of internal and external audiences. 

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields: marketing research, business administration, decision science. 

• Superior project management and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and prioritize time to maximize results. 

• A team player who can build trust with internal and external stakeholders through a spirit of collaboration and partnership. 

• Passion to win with customers and drive solutions and differentiation for WestRock in the marketplace. 

• Ability to be comfortable with change and new challenge
