Job Purpose:

Provide leadership to the production departments for the Ripley Plant, to include Assembly, SPA, Traps, Preprocessing, Metal Cutting and Machining.

Will drive Manufacturing Excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity while promoting Marvin Values and culture.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop plans, drive execution and accountability for Safety (TCIR), Quality (PQA and Test Wall), Delivery, (RTL) and Productivity (DMHPL) for Ripley Production Areas.
  • Provide Leadership Coaching and development for PGMs and Team Leaders.
  • Develop and Execute Better Living Framework (Great Place to Work) initiative for the Ripley Production Areas.
  • Support CI Activities and drive sustainment of Lean Tools in Production Areas.
  • Support New Product Launches as needed to insure successful launches.
  • Any other items needed to support strategic projects.

Qualifications:

  • Eight years or more of progressive management experience in manufacturing and a Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong Leadership Competencies, including building relationships & collaboration, creating alignment, developing others, including other leaders, strategic thinking, and a drive for results.
  • ISO/QS/ other quality operating system experience preferred; Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence experiences a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with budget development/management & strategic planning.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the desire for continuous improvement; Able to keep associates engaged in their work and improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
