The Consultant will work closely with the customer’s executive and technical teams to help develop and implement operational and security enhancement strategies associated with findings from current ongoing projects and future strategic roadmaps.

In addition, the Consultant will provide ongoing malware analysis and remediation services, infrastructure analysis, breach detection, tabletop exercises and after action reports to a strategic customer.If you are fanatical about security, will do whatever it takes to keep the bad guys out, enjoy hunting for attackers, thrive on responding to security incidents and interested in designing creative solutions that enhance a major strategic client’s security posture then we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Develop detailed strategic plans to address operational and technical challenges in Customer’s network and physical environmentCoordinate with Customer employees and vendors to plan and execute tasks associated with strategic remediation plans.

Activities may include, but not limited to infrastructure improvements involving Domain Name System (DNS), network segmentation enhancements, logging and monitoring capabilities, or Active Directory (AD) security policy improvements and account reviewsDevelop custom support documentation, best practices documentation, playbooks, briefing materials, technical notes, presentations, and other customized documentation that is specified by the CustomerTriage and escalation of security events and vulnerabilities within the following cybersecurity domains: Threat Intelligence, Security Analytics, Communication and Network, Advanced Fraud, Identify and Access management, Asset Security, Cloud and Mobile Environments, Application / Data / Endpoint monitoring, Security AssessmentProvide expert guidance building information security programs to include hands-on implementation and/or assessment of security controlsWork closely with the Customer in the implementation/integration of new infrastructure and toolsInterface with Customer to address challenges, concerns, issues, or escalations; track and drive to closure any issues that impact the serviceOversee and demonstrate creative solutions while aligning with Mandiant’s business processes, methodologies, and client communication methodsQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred in a technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)Minimum 5 years of comparable experience; Experience managing and leading teamsExpertise and knowledge of firewall technologies, IDS technologies, proxy technologies, Active Directory (AD) and malware/antivirus solutions.Fundamental understanding of network protocolsExperience with the critical tools used in security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, malware analysis, or other areas of security operationsUnderstanding of cyber security operations, event monitoring, and SIEM toolsFamiliarity with Unix and Windows operating systems and administrative toolsUnderstanding of security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and network equipmentExperience with a programming/scripting language such as Python, Perl or similar in an incident handling environment is a plusPrior interaction with C-level executives Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including senior executiveExcellent written communication skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner, as well as to set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team membersAdditional Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorshipAdditional InformationAs a U.S.
