JOB SUMMARY
This position will serve as a senior global leader responsible for the achievement of defined strategic goals and deliverables for the Global Workplace Solutions | Client Strategy and Analytics organization with a focus on design, development, and deployment of advanced, differentiated business analytics and other integrated solutions that deliver superior measurable outcomes for CBRE occupier clients.
The role will focus on identifying and developing integrated strategies and solutions and delivery model elements with a focus on organization design, process integration, integrated portfolio strategy, and integrated analytics that support CBRE occupier clients’ strategic business outcomes.
The role will also be responsible for sustaining alignment across a range of stakeholders both within – and beyond – the GWS segment (e.g., Advisory & Transactions, Digital and Technology).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with leadership, establish performance objectives and priorities related to the achievement of line of business’s goals and objectives, in support of overall segment strategy and goals.
Representative duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Effectively engage with key stakeholders (both internal and external, e.g., Clients) to lead the visioning and definition of differentiated, industry-leading strategies and solutions
· Lead and/or support specific integrated products and solutions efforts, with a focus on differentiated capabilities and offerings, particularly those that feature integrated organization models, data and analytics solutions, end to end processes, integrated portfolio optimization (e.g., opex, capex, rent) and outcome measures focused on maximizing client business and portfolio outcomes
· Oversee the development, testing, and roll-out of select integrated solutions with internal stakeholders (e.g., account teams) and strategic enterprise clients
· Engage in a consultative and business development capacity with a primary focus on GWS enterprise client pursuits; engage with business development leaders, account teams, and clients to understand business needs and refine, adapt, and propose winning solutions in support of the client’s strategic objectives.
In general, this activity will occur within the context of large, complex multi-service line outsourcing pursuits; from time to time, the role will also entail responsibility for supporting stand-alone strategic client consulting engagements that are aligned with the clients’ and CBRE’s broader strategic objectives
Performance measures will align with overall segment goals in the areas of strategic business objectives, segment growth goals, specific line of business financial and other goals, enterprise client satisfaction and other specific initiative objectives.
In support of the above, the successful candidate will possess the following:
· Domain-specific consulting experience and/or consultative skills enabling the successful candidate to serve senior Corporate Real Estate executives and their executive teams and stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
This includes the ability to conceptualize and drive the creation of diagnostics, synthesis and presentation of findings, formulation of recommendations, development of business cases, and actionable transformation roadmaps.
· Deep knowledge of the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) function, with a focus on partnership and outsourcing strategies to improve business effectiveness across a range of dimensions, including financial performance (e.g., cost savings), stakeholder engagement (e.g., CRM), operational excellence, brand enhancement and corporate social responsibility (e.g., support of measurable ESG commitments)
· Command of CRE data and analytics landscape and strategies and use of data-driven insights to identify performance optimization opportunities.
· High impact facilitation skills, with a focus on the ability to lead large, diverse groups through the exploration of complex and potentially contentious issues with the goal of achieving a shared vision and alignment on strategic priorities and implementation plans.
· Superior executive presence and related communication skills inclusive of writing, speaking, and presentation capabilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May provide formal and/or informal supervision to employees and project teams comprised of one or more functional areas.
May drive focus groups and collaborative workshops with clients and account teams.
Will approve subordinate’s recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action, and termination.
Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime and management of contractors, as appropriate.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.
This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except the State of Colorado.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions in matrix-based multi-industry environments.
Draws upon the analysis and research of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company and the company’s largest, most strategic occupier clients.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.
A master’s degree in business, economics, data & analytics, or related program or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of business consulting and real estate experience is required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real estate license (where required by state law) Professional certification, professional designations (e.g.
BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.
