The Manager, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives.

The Manager, Technology Solutions works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

We have a multi-year initiative that needs a leader that can build partnerships, prioritize value for the customer, and integrate a SAAS platform into Humana’s complex environment.

The Manager, Technology Solution will partner with Product and Group Segment Leadership to implement a new SaaS platform that supports Group and Specialty growth outcomes.

This leader will partner across the segment to achieve product growth outcomes by defining business and functional requirements, influencing system and architectural design, and ensuring solutions meet operational objectives and requirements.

Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area.

Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Will also support legacy product applications that the segment uses today, and define a transition and shut down strategy.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

6 or more years of technical

2 or more years of management experience

Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Possess 10+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Prior Experience implementing SaaS platforms
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree
Preference to hire candidates in Louisville or willing to relocate to Louisville
