Job Purpose
This role is based in North America and will be responsible to create a sales strategy to achieve targets in the North America Region (Colombia to Canada). The scope includes managing sales managers, key account managers, and the development of key relationships with Komatsu distributor principals throughout the territory.

Each day will present you with new challenges and opportunities to test and grow your skills. As a Manager of Regional Sales with Modular, you’ll be responsible for:
Responsible for crafting, directing sales strategies and processes to support Mining Technology Solution sales growth and profitability for Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and the United States.
Responsible for the region’s annual budget to achieve strategic goals. Prepares, justifies, and manages the annual regional sales budget.
Communicates and shares Komatsu Mining Technology’s vision throughout the region and provides cross-functional perspective, direction, and support.
Drives Company focus, manage culture, encourage strong work ethic, and foster an environment of trust and respect.
Responsible for hiring and developing the respective Regional Sales Team, managing their performance, and completing their annual performance review. Provides leadership and personal support; coach, guide, nurture and develop the right people; walk the talk.
Develops group and individual performance plans in alignment with Company goals and objectives; communicates clearly defined individual and group objectives.
Communicates and positively supports Komatsu policies and decisions.
Key Areas of Focus:
Responsible for budgeting, planning, goal setting, customer relations development, account penetration, and expansion of distribution models for regional Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions.
Responsible for overseeing the creation of formalized Komatsu Mining Technology strategic account plans for existing and target accounts. The strategic account plan includes but is not limited to customer strategic objectives, mid and long-term penetration, joint “One Komatsu” initiatives, and iACV / iARR growth.
Oversees assigned portions of regions Profit Loss Statement. Providing monthly comprehensive analysis and recap detail of PL results; activities, sales, and expenses.
Develops and directs the region’s annual sales plan to meet or exceed sales and profit expectations. The plan includes but is not limited to: setting Gross Net $ plan, Profitability Goal, Expenses, and Expansion.
Responsible for iACV & iARR revenue growth across existing & target Mining Technology Solution customers.
Develops and maintains working relationships with all key Komatsu Mining decision-makers and provides direction to broker opportunities. Imperative a strong relationship is built at Senior levels within the Komatsu North America, Komatsu Mexico, Komatsu Colombia distribution networks.
Advocate and promote “One Komatsu” messaging throughout all engagements and promote a 1+1=3 mindset that is mutually beneficial to Customers, Komatsu, and its technology solutions.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related degree required
MBA desirable
10+ years of experience in the mining industry and/or mining technology
3-5 years of direct experience leading sales team
3-5 years of experience as an individual contributor in a sales organization
Travel required: 40%
