Job Description
Eurofins Test America is searching for a Manager of Project Management in University Park, IL.
The Manager of Project Management is accountable for coordinating and managing clients’ projects through all phases of laboratory operations, including project set-up and maintenance, login review, communication of analytical issues, client account maintenance, reporting, invoicing, bottle orders, client pickups, identification of work share facilities, and assigning PM upon awarded quote and proposal. They are accountable for the oversight of the Project Managers and (if applicable) Project Management Assistants. The Manager of Project Management fosters and develops client relationships in support of the CSO mission.
Manager of Project Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage and performance
• Foster morale and teamwork
• Supervises the activities of Project Managers and possibly Project Management Assistants.
Project set-up:
o Project review in LIMS
o Sets up project
o Adds any project notes (special reporting and invoicing instructions, etc.)
o Reviews project documentation (permits, SOW, QAPP, and purchase/task orders)
o Adds any project documentation to central repository (permits, SOW, QAPP, and purchase/task orders)
o Sets up client for Total Access
o Manages purchase orders, task orders, contracts, and change order requests
o Verifies that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements for new projects not quoted
o Adds any project specific limits / lists to LIMS
o Deliverable assignment and delivery route
o For new projects not quoted, confirms that EDD format is available (deliverable assignment and delivery route). Submits a helpdesk ticket for any new formats needed.
o Communicates project details to operations
o Initiates project kick off call with client and pertinent staff, if needed
o Engages workshare labs, service centers, and non-TA locations as needed for new projects not quoted
o Works with operations to ensure adequate capacity for incoming work (forecasting)
o Provides updates to operations on upcoming work
Sample Receipt:
o Communicates any issues to clients for duration of project
o Manages incoming work for Rush and short holds
• Reporting:
o Client specific report requirements
o Reviews job list daily and manages due dates
o Communicates any expected delays to clients before the job due date
o Confirms any data anomalies (filtered > dissolved, deviations from historicals, etc.) with operations before submitting to client
• Invoicing:
o Sets up delivery route
• Client set-up:
o Work with CSM to communicate lab capabilities to the client
• Quotes and Proposals:
o Assigns PM Upon award
• Account Maintenance:
o Follow up calls and visits with clients
o Submits client complaints and participates in corrective action / follow-up as needed
o Communicates client issues / complaints to sales
Supervisory Duties:
o Performance Evaluations
o Chairs regular department meetings
o Human Resources issues
Schedules courier or field sampler, if needed:
o Confirms non-Eurofins TestAmerica subcontract labs are on the approved list and set-up as vendors for new work
o Confirms non-TestAmerica subcontract labs are on the approved list and set-up as vendors for existing work

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of University Park, IL are encouraged to apply.
