Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Operational performance, daily production quotas, Team management, creating and executing policies and procedures:
Ensure plant production requirements are met on-time in the most efficient manner possible while maintaining a safe operating environment.
Proactively partner with the Maintenance team to identify, prioritize and resolve production equipment failures.
Partner with Maintenance to proactively address equipment abnormalities prior to production slow downs and prioritize equipment failures to reduce out of service time and ensure uninterrupted production
Liaise with Human Resources to proactively plan staffing needs, address employee performance concerns, and develop policies which enhance employee effectiveness
Profile
Qualifications of Operations Manager:
Bachelors Degree in Business related field, or equivalent work experience
Five + years experience as an Operations Leader in a Manufacturing Plant, preferably Packaging
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Take a significant role in the development of Employees to support the engagement, growth, retention and goal achievement
Available for 2 shifts and on call as needed
