The Manager of Natural Gas provides a central point of coordination for natural gas market transformation work in the Northwest. The scope includes supervision over program management of natural gas programs as well as oversight of the cross-functional teams responsible for development and execution of market implementation plans for innovative natural gas energy efficient products, services and practices. This position assures the availability and effective deployment of resources and administers a multi-million-dollar annual budget to achieve the business objectives of NEEAs Natural Gas Business Plan.As the leader of NEEAs Natural Gas team, the position is a working-level Manager and expected to participate in and supervise a wide range of activities and projects. If you answered yes to these questions, please read on to learn more: The Typical Day May Include Scoping work and negotiating contracts with industry experts to support development, adoption and implementation of more efficient natural gas products and practices in the Northwest Coaching staff on program management process and skills improvement including team leadership, development of market implementation plans, budget management, risk identification and management Tracking portfolio and program progress and intervening to resolve issues and support the teams in order to assure effective advancement Collaborating with other NEEA leaders to identify and capitalize on synergies between gas and electric market transformation work Identifying and pursuing strategic partnership opportunities with other organizations to advance natural gas energy efficiency opportunities Organizing and coordinating regional communication including planning and management of advisory committee meetings What Are You Good At?
