Manager, Internal Audit

Reporting to the Director, Internal Audit
– Retail, the Manager, Internal Audit is accountable for evaluating risk and the oversight and implementation of operational, and financial audits for the purpose of appraising and continuously improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and internal control systems within Nutrien Ag Solutions.
Travel will be required to certain North America locations.
What you will do:
• Accountable for the complete audit cycle including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting
• Conduct integrated control reviews incorporating the components of the COSO framework for internal controls
• Under the guidance of Director Internal Audit, support local administration with counsel and assistance for improving the effectiveness & efficiency of processes and controls
• Identify and promote the use of best practices within the organization
• Maintain the self-governed and credibility of the internal audit function by performing work in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as established by the Institute of Internal Auditors in addition to the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Code of Ethics
• Maintain effective working relationships with corporate/ network/ branches and operating administration and staff
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• This position will be required to serve as audit lead, team member or individual contributor depending on the circumstances
What you will bring:
• 8+ years business experience including a minimum of 3 years audit experience
• Degree in Accounting, or a related field of study
• Professional accounting designation such as CPA, CIA, CA, or CMA is preferred
• Ability to lead people to achieve goals by providing clear directions and adapting ones leadership style as needed
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with all levels of the organization
• Well-developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
• Deep understanding of the COSO Integrated Framework for Internal Controls
• Effective writing skills including report writing and audit file documentation
• Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Thorough computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Experience with a large ERP system, preferably SAP
• Must be able to work as an effective and contributing member of a team or self-guided as the need arises
• Willingness and ability to travel and conduct corporate and/or branch related audits
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $81,200
– $116,000 USD. This range is estimated for Manager, Internal Audit in Loveland, Colorado.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
