The Logistics Business Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for daily supply change and warehouse logistics operations.

This includes coordinating with supply chain on inbound materials, with manufacturing for internal shipments, and with the functions of shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation, and warehouse storage activities while effectively communicating and promoting a continuous improvement culture.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are a necessity due to the pace of work and the amount of inter-departmental coordination.

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Manage and execute logistics services across all business units, meeting service level agreements

• Responsible for transportation and logistics planning and capacity analysis

• Minimizes logistics costs while meeting customer order requirements and production needs

• Leads the team to handle critical shipping and receiving issues and communicates resolutions with customers, vendors, carries, and all involved parties

• Lead the logistics network optimization

• Issues shipping instructions and provides routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.

• Executes and leads logistics strategies to support warehouse and storage for kits, spare parts and consumable supplies

• Working with customers for securing delivery service quality

• Maintaining appropriate inventory levels for produced goods and raw materials

• Responsible for cargo and materials tracking and deliveries

• Develops and maintain daily operations reports, monthly and annual financial reports and budgets

• Perform financial analyses for strategic initiatives within the Logistics team

• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives

• Lead and participate in the training and implementation of new procedures or process changes 

• Develop team members professionally and instill a high-quality culture. 

• Ability to organize multiple priorities using effective problem solving

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Must have logistics management experience. 

5+ years of experience in leading a logistics team is desired. 

Bachelors degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline and at least one year of experience in middle or upper management; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a high-volume logistics environment.

Excellent computer skills, including experience with Oracle or similar ERP.

Experience with a TMS is desired.

Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Compensation: $74,700.00/Year 
– $103,850.00/Year
