Manager, Development

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Development to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities: Manage a development team that is responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms Oversee multiple development projects, working closely with IT and business management to identify and translate complex business requirements into architectural design Provide technical consulting and leadership, identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives Manage relationship with clients, ensuring high standards and quality of technical solutions, keeping abreast of latest technology developments Act as the technical lead in charge of application support for specific platforms in the Learning management space Develop and maintain strong relationships with SABA, QuestionMark, eXact, Adobe, CSOD and other vendors and perform internal technical SME function for the SaaS and on premise platforms Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in application development, integration and support including leadership roles as a Developer and/or a Technical lead; experience should include responsibility for other developers (both onshore and offshore), interfacing with clients and vendors, creation of project schedules and project status reporting Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience Prior knowledge with full project life cycle including planning and executing application implementation and the creation of support procedures Experience with Java web application architecture with an Apache or IIS back end Ability to write PL/SQL and T-SQL procedures, functions, and views Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
