This is a Contract position in Mesa, AZ posted November 25, 2021.

The Manger, BI receives assignments in form of objectives and establishes goals to meet those objectives.

Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies/procedures.

Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.

Establishes and recommends change to policies/procedures which affect subordinates and or/organization.

The Manager, BI will provide leadership and management to the BI staff.

This position will provide technical business leadership at Ashfield as well as with external partners and clients.

Responsibilities include meeting internal and client reporting and integration requests from inception through implementation, leveraging information technology to achieve operational and financial efficiencies, maintain BI facilities, and services required to meet both administrative and client projects.

The Manager, BI is responsible for all aspects of the management and control of BI development, including supervision of BI employees; budget preparation and management; recommendations for technical acquisitions; and development of guidelines, standards and procedures.

The Manager, BI is charged with strategic planning, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the requirements for both administrative and client projects.

Works on problems of diverse scope in which the analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.

Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.

Manage BI development using Agile software development techniques.

Runs complex projects/programs from design and development to production.

Defines BI requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.

Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.

Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

Plans and schedule BI project deliverables, goals, and milestones.

Directs and oversees BI Development staff and manages conflicts within group.

Performs team assessments and evaluations.

Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.

Designs and maintain technical and BI project documentation.

Identify requirements and functional needs of the call center for the routing, prioritizing, escalation, and reporting of calls in the contact centers.

Plan, develop, and implement call center, field reports, dashboards, integrations and processes to meet the business objectives of business strategies.

Research and make recommendations on BI software purchases.

Negotiates with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Develop and enhance relationships with vendors/partners that strategically align with the company’s goals.

Work as a part of senior management and operations team to develop an annual budget, providing justification when needed.

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.

Work as part of the team to provide systems interface, risk analysis, vendor management and planning for disaster recovery and business continuity planning activities.

Lead the Disaster Recovery Test planning meetings.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and implementing the Disaster Recovery Tests.

Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Train, mentor and share knowledge to empower Software Development technical staff.

Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Provide on-call and after-hours coverage, as necessary.

What do you need for this position?

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field or equivalent work related experience Minimum 10 years of project management or IT Management.

Minimum 10 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.

Ten years of working with distributed client/server software development preferably involving MS Reporting Services, Tableau, Qlik, Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, ASP, XCode or .NET technologies.

Five years of experience with Salesforce or Veeva, Good working knowledge of Cloud based telephony systems (Five9, Ring Central, Cisco).

Understanding of call center modes/methodologies and technologies, including call center related programming knowledge
– VDNs, Vectors, Skills, and DNIS.
