Logistics Account Manager

Alluvion is currently hiring for a Logistics Account Manager for a fast-paced environment in Jacksonville, FL.

Overview: Communicate with drivers regarding loads and their status Provide superior communication with internal and external customers Execute shipments at the load levels Utilize multiple methods of available load broadcasts / postings Negotiate contract with carriers Negotiate shipments and freight Highly level of customer service Strong ability to problem-solve Utilize relationships with prospective carriers to generate sales, repeat sales, maximize margins and aid in booking freight with quality.

Resolve transportation needs by coordinating directly with customers, and other departments.

Prepare, review, approve and maintain files Coordinate shipments and ensure cargo is traced Receive, reconcile, generate, consolidate and/or summarize documents and information.

Ensure invoices are accurate and in accordance to the physical shipment and customer regulatory requirements.

May be required to interpret, review and apply appropriate rates to bills of lading timely and accurately while staying compliant with the rules and regulations.

Various duties as needed Skills needed: Ability to work in team-oriented environment while maintaining individual workload Ability to multi-task, work under moderately stressful situations and meet deadlines Excellent telephone skills (inbound and outbound) Self-motivated personality, with an eye for detail Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of internet, email and other software Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Strong verbal and written communication skills Once Perm client provide: 401k, 3% matching, full time person I would pay them to pay for their health insurance
