Lockheed Martin values your skills, training and education.New Business Proposal Manager assigned to the F-35 Training & Logistics Market Segment within RMS Training and Logistics Solutions Line of Business.

Leads Proposal Team efforts to secure new or follow-on sole source contracts, or delivery-order business.

Develops proposal strategy including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities and leads bid and proposal activities.

Has responsibility to lead and integrate a cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the proposal development effort to deliver compliant, compelling, and competitive proposals to support both domestic and international F-35 Training & Logistics opportunities.

The selected candidate will work as the F-35 Training & Logistics New Business Proposal Team Leader and will be expected to perform tasks and oversee management of F-35 proposal, contract, and technical professionals.

This $1B+ portfolio will include responsibility for F-35 Training & Logistics sole source proposals, and coordination for F-35 Ground Support Equipment and F-35 Automated Test Solution proposals.

Candidate will work alongside Program Managers, Business Managers, Contracts, Pricing, and others within the F-35 enterprise to develop and execute business/proposal strategies.

Effective leadership qualities are essential for building cohesive proposal teams that deliver compelling, compliant and winning proposals.

Work directly with Program Managers, Engineering Project Managers, and Senior Management, and tailor the Proposal Process to the particular campaign/RFP to support winning within the constraints of the effort.

Provide regular status to Senior Management.Develop and maintain responsibility the proposal schedule including establishing appropriate reviews.

Ability to travelMust be a US CitizenApplicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must have the ability to attain Secret clearanceBasic Qualifications:Strong leadership, business acumen, communication and strategic and tactical thinking; flexible to work multiple assignments; prior capture and proposal process experience.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
