Lead Consultant Sterling Integrator

Job Description

Infosys is seeking for Lead Sterling Integration Consultant.

You will anchor different phases of engagements including business process consulting, problem definition, discovery, solution generation, deployment and validation; guide the team on project processes & deliverables on IBM Sterling Integrator, SI Mapping, Business Process Design and Development, EDI Functional Experience, Trouble shooting of functional and technical issues, Trading Partner Onboarding on Sterling Suite.

You will be responsible for internal capability building with the objective of high-quality & value adding solutions to customer within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

  Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
• Location for this position is Chicago, IL, USA.

  This position may require relocation and or travel.

Preferred Qualification

• At least 7 years experience of Sterling Integrator, Sterling Map Editor, Graphical Process Modeler, Secure Proxy, products is the core requirement for this role.
• At least 5 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Good experience in integration with various applications including SAP, OTM, Oracle, Mainframes.
• Experience setting up the following in a B2B environment, Partner Profiles AS2, sFTP, FTPs, FTP, SOAP, PGP.
• Should have strong proficiency across B2B & EDI domain, best practices, knowledge of multiple industry standards & regulations to review remedial enhancement for simple enhancements
• Should possess specialize knowledge on B2B & EDI functional and technical areas
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Excellent Analytical & communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Conducting requirement workshop/ current system study leveraging EDI & B2B domain expertise
• Lead small/medium engagements & provide consultation on process analysis
• Supporting resolution for escalated issues, review support personal work/test plans/cases/reports
• Conduct root cause analysis and take corrective actions
• Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
• Identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution.
• Keeps customers informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.

Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
