Lead a team of Help Desk Technicians who troubleshoot IT issues.
Implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
Ensure maximum issue resolution in minimum time.Oversee help desk technicians ensuring appropriate staffing levels, operating within budget constraints and that systems meet KNX organizational requirements and exceed expectations.Ensure assigned employees have career development plans.Ensure all KNX customers receive outstanding customer support.Develop, implement, and enforce Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) policy and procedure relating to the Windows Infrastructure, Personal Computing, and Help Desk Support.Analyze help desk performance through various statistical and reporting methods.Implement methodologies to improve first call resolution, manage customer perceptions, and build strong internal relationships with all businesses under the KNX umbrella.Monitor problem management database and follow up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all KNX businesses.Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.Qualifications: What you need to bring3+ years data center experience required.Previous leadership experience preferred.Associates degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.Must be familiar with operational aspects of all CPUs, peripheral devices and communications equipment.Must possess solid technical skills.Must be able to research and resolve problems of a technical nature in situations where previous experience does not provide a solution.Must possess strong communication skills.Must be able to professionally interact with all employees.Must be able to train, mentor and familiarize new Help Desk Technicians with Knight-Swift business practices.Must be able to provide hands-on training of all available tools and technologies.What we offer:Competitive starting salary commensurate with experience.Potential bonus pay based on company performance.Opportunities to volunteer and give back to local communities through Knight-Swift Charities.Comprehensive Benefits Package which includes:401(K)Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Supplemental and Life InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTuition ReimbursementThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
