As a Logistics Account Manager, you’ll develop & build relationships internally & externally and represent our brand within the industry.
This role is customer facing and you will be tasked with exceeding performance metrics, developing customer relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
Key daily areas of focus involve data integrity, problem solving, & proactive communicationwith your customers with support from our team using various tools, technology & resources.Essential tasks and responsibilities: Solicit freight from customers and prospects to drive rapid and sustainable growth.
Make certain that all load information is accurate and input correctly into system Bid, monitor, and handle awarded freight by working with designated department personnel.
Identify opportunities to maximize revenue by collaborating with other lines of business to deliver best transit solution to customer (LH, IM or Logistics).
Maintain focus on key performance indicators, reports, metrics and methods for ongoing measurement of customer performance and departmental success.
Monitor and trace shipments from pick up to delivery, proactively notifying the customer of service issues.
Research and code all applicable service failures.
Proactively communicate and provide creative solutions for customers when service is in jeopardy Work closely and efficiently with buying groups in order to understand capacity capabilities for your customersSkills and qualifications: Detailed oriented & results-focused Can work in a fast-paced team environment Outstanding communication skills Can problem solve & be resilient Possesses a strong sense of personal accountability & winning attitude Can effectively set priorities and time manages Basic computer skills Bachelor’s degree preferredWhy join us?
