As the Key Account Director of Carrier Sales, you focus on increasing revenue through the decisive leadership of a team of Senior Account Executives. You excel at driving sales across your organization by expertly leveraging available tools and resources. You combine strong business acumen and extensive forecast management skills to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics for the Carrier sales program.
You inspire teams to exceed their goals through coaching, sales training and detailed feedback. You maximize the sales and the client experience through collaboration with Decision Support, Special Pricing, Product, Order Management, Marketing and Market Analysis. You thrive in an office environment managing a geographically dispersed team and travel regularly to achieve company goals. You report directly to the Manager of Enterprise Carrier Sales for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
Accelerate account growth potential by developing and directing medium to long-term account strategy planning for high-priority clients.
Ensure that team members are focused on implementing the account team strategy through weekly account team strategy meetings and review of activity and performance.
Develop and recommend strategies to protect, grow and diversify client relationships, including master service agreement (MSA) renewals and product expansions.
Review and report sales summaries, client retention, business opportunities, funnel growth, competitor trends and market trends for senior leadership to leverage.
Maximize face-to-face selling activities by prioritizing team selling strategies and tactics.
Effectively partner with matrixed teams across Spectrum Enterprise to ensure that assigned clients receive an exceptional experience.
Meet or exceed carrier quotas by carrying a quota, selling alongside team members and contributing to the overall team performance.
Increase productivity and exceed sales quotas by recruiting, training, motivating and developing the sales team into a productive, cohesive unit focused on selling strategies.
Drive account team strategies for retention and growth by conducting weekly sales team meetings and one-on-one reviews of team member activities and performance.
Mitigate risks by complying with all established policies and procedures of Spectrum Enterprise.
Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Required keys for success:
Three or more years of leadership experience in a competitive telecommunications or cable sales environment.
Five or more years of Enterprise or Carrier level strategic sales experience in successfully meeting or exceeding the assigned quota selling internet, ethernet and Wavelength services.
Focus on delivering and exceeding team-based sales quotas.
History of developing and executing a strategic account plan for key clients.
Confident and organized when facilitating presentations for internal and external executive leadership.
Track record of leading a team and managing processes while organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals.
Demonstrated experience leading a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management.
Sound organizational development and business analysis skills.
Experience using client relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce.
Knowledgeable of telecommunications and networking technologies.
Valid and active state drivers license, safe driving record and availability to travel.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
Your education:
Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
