Explore your specialties by joining us asVice President, Supply Chain Next possible start date | HarveyYour responsibilities:The Vice President Supply Chain reports to the CEO and leads a dynamic and experienced professional team.

This is a critical leadership position within FUCHS, both regionally and globally, and is particularly responsible for leading the Company’s full North American supply chain.We anticipate the Vice President, Supply Chain will initially take direct leadership of the Company’s sales and operations planning, inventory, logistics and warehousing activities, with the remaining functions being added as the position develops.The ultimate scope of responsibilities include strategic development and leadership of the entire supply chain for FUCHS’ North American business, including: Sales and operations planning for the Company’s multiple manufacturing sites; Operating the Company’s various multi-sited manufacturing, logistics and warehousing departments; Procurement;and Engineering and capital project management.Particular key responsibilities include: Participating within the FUCHS Global Supply Chain team and playing a significant role in formulating and implementing global best practices.

Promoting collaboration between FUCHS’ North and South American affiliates to foster a wholistic supply chain that effectively meets Customer requirements nimbly and efficiently.

Driving development of regional process systems improvements to balance supply, demand, materials, stock replenishment, network optimization, inventory, cost and service.

Identifying, prioritizing, building and driving strategic projects to successful completion.

Ensuring sustainability in the North American Supply Chain and contributing to FUCHS’ global sustainability targets.

Driving a safety-first culture and ensuring that safety, quality and environmental standards are fully satisfied.Qualifications we are looking for: Dynamic leader with history of building and leading strong collaborative and high performing teams focused on growth and operating with a continuous improvement mindset.

Extensive and in-depth supply chain leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Significant hands-on and leadership experience in all aspects of supply chain.

Previous exposure to leading teams across multi-site operations, strategic planning team/resource management, process design and implementation and post-acquisition integration.

A sound understanding of best practice supply chain planning principles and their practical implementation.

Strong hands-on ERP experience (SAP is very strongly preferred).

Bachelor s degree required, preferably in supply chain, business or a related discipline.

Strong interpersonal, communication and intercultural skills.
