Eliot is seeking an energetic, positive, and motivated leader to oversee juvenile justice programs in the Metro Boston area.This position provides a great opportunity to positively impact and influence the course of program operations and young people’s lives through team building and supervisory guidance. In this role you will work directly with program leadership and staff as well as agency leadership to guide and direct program operations and services in accordance with all contractual and licensing regulations.Responsibilities:* Directly supervise program leadership and day-to-day operations through training, modeling and oversight* Supervise operations of programs while adhering to licensor and funder requirements, ensuring optimal service delivery.* Ensure the safety and security of taff, , the programand the community through thorough and consistent oversight of program operations.* Coordinate, create, implement and monitor program development, corrective action and compliance with policy and procedures Work closely with DYS, EEC and Eliot personnel to ensure effective communication and positive working relationships that enhance program operations.* Assist with recruitment, hiring and training of program staff.* Serve as On-call administrator for programs, providing telephonic and in-person consultation and support to program leadership.Required Qualifications:* Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.* Ability to implement a model of care based on Trauma Informed services and a Positive Youth Development framework.* Ability to execute sound problem solving and decision-making skills in crisis situations while remaining calm and professional* Possess skills to establish a positive, professional and therapeutic rapport with youth and staff from differing ethnic, cultural and/or socio-economic backgrounds.* Ability to work in a fast paced environment that requires a sense of urgency and timely responses.Special Requirements:* Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree, and be open to continuing their education through an Agency supported program.* Possess a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license, as well as a reliable form of transportation* Be available 24/7 for emergency and crisis incidents that may require phone or in-person support* Completed criminal, EEC and DCF background checks.About Eliot:Since 1958, Eliot Community Human Services (Eliot) has been providing compassionate services to vulnerable members of our community.
