We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and warm General Manager that will oversee operations at two of Austin’s mostbeloved dining destinations.

The General Manager ofJeffrey’s and the Josephine Housewill have strong leadership qualities and run both properties with a real sense of ownership and pride.

We are looking for a leader who brings years of experience in fine dining and understands how to convey that level of expectation to our employees.

This manager should take joy in sharing their expertise by training others and developing more junior managers.

We have high expectations for our guest’s overall experience, and someone who brings a passion for food, wine, and service will excel in this role.

This role also requires a strong background in financial analysis and the ability to make informed choices about to best run these successful businesses.Wine and Fine Dining Expertise Required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConsistently provide abeautiful product and customer service experienceElevate theguest experience by acting as an owner andmaître d’Build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests and help build new long-term dinersEnsure all employees are trained, mentored, and equipped to deliver service to our expectationsRecruit, hire and develop employees that possess a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning moreServe as a role model and set a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel managementEffectivelyimplement training and new hire orientation for our employeesDevelop existing employees to prepare them for promotion through regular feedback and reviewsHold the employees accountable for performance using progressive disciplinary procedures and setting clear expectations through training and handbooksUtilize labor effectively to meet budgetsAbility to run the property wheremeal periods overlap and often events happen in two private dining spaces simultaneouslyOversee accurate payroll, gratuity, timekeeping, and cash handling on the compound.Maintain and constituency look to improve upon training manuals and steps of service to maintain a culture of best in class serviceAct as the steward of the multi-unit facility, communicating promptly when issues arise, and maintaining a schedule of regular preventative maintenanceRecruiting, Hiring, Training and annual performance evaluations of hourly managers/supervisors, FOH Floor Managers, and Beverage ManagersBenefits:Competitive compensation401k Matching of up to 4%Quarterly incentive bonus based onachievable goalsPaid vacationsTuition reimbursement for industry-related educational coursesDining and Hotel discounts
