This is a Contract position in Devils Lake, ND posted November 23, 2021.

The Jalapeno Tree is a family-owned full-service restaurant with a passion for Crazy Good Mexican Food.

We strive to create a family-friendly environment with a focus on fresh food, quality ingredients, and exemplary service.

Manager training goes from Wednesday to Sunday weekly in Tyler, TX (please see offer letter for changes).

The location for your employment will be determined at Jalapeño Tree’s sole discretion near the end of your training.

Schedule : Weekends required Holidays required Day shift Night shift Benefits : Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in a similar restaurant concept Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age.

Valid driver’s license Prolonged standing, moving at a rapid pace, bending, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motions (including frequent hand washing).

Some bending to clean prep tables, maintain a clean station area, pick up debris on the floor or other day-to-day restaurant operations.

Exposure to extremes in temperature throughout the day (cold temperatures in cooler/freezer and warm temperatures in kitchen area).

Must meet any federal, state, county, or municipal regulations regarding food and beverage service.

Good vision and hearing required.

Ability to read and write, operate computer and telephone.

Coordinate, organize, and verbally communicate effectively.

Hours are normally 55 hours per week with variable start and finish times depending on the needs of the restaurant.

Some additional time, holiday and weekend work Summary General Manager is responsible for all operations of the business unit, staff, building, and property, including managing day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on long-term goals and objectives.

General Managers ensure operational focus on consistent friendliness, guest service and satisfaction, cleanliness, and Crazy Good Mexican Food™.

General Manager acts in a leadership capacity to develop, train, and hold accountable management staff and hourly employees to attain positive sales, increased profit, and budgets in addition to upholding the highest standards of food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Kitchen Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations with a strong focus on kitchen operations.

Kitchen Managers ensure operational focus on consistent friendliness, guest service, guest satisfaction, cleanliness and Crazy Good Mexican Food™.

Kitchen Manager acts in leadership capacity to develop, train, and hold accountable back of house (BOH) staff to attain positive sales, increased profit, and budgets in addition to upholding the highest standards of food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness and sanitation.

Front of House (FOH) Manager Responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations with a strong focus on front of house (FOH) and bar operations.

FOH Managers ensure operational focus on consistent friendliness, guest service, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, bar service and Crazy Good Mexican Food.

Acts in leadership capacity to develop, train, and hold accountable FOH staff to attain positive sales, increased profit, and budgets in addition to upholding the highest standards of food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness and sanitation.
