SCOPE
The Information Technology (IT) Manager will provide a high level of operational support for Spiegelworld.
The IT Manager is responsible for the overall strategic plan for technology as well as the installation and ongoing management of the organizations systems (hardware and software) as well as creating and directing network security and policies.
This position will troubleshoot problems, recommends appropriate systems upgrades and purchases as needed.
The systems include accounting, administration, retail/PO system, ticketing/box office system, and varying software systems.
In addition, this role is responsible for network backup/disaster recovery, audio/visual needs, and miscellaneous peripherals.
Ideal candidates will be laser-focused on user experience and customer service, ensuring that all staff and stakeholders have reliable access to the tools and information necessary to thrive in their roles.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
* Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation in a cloud-first organization.
* Consistently deliver a seamless user experience across platforms and services.
* Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures including the knowledge of setting-up systems and building infrastructures.
* Manage vendor and consultant relationships, continuously right-sizing products and licensing to meet the needs of a dynamic and growing organization.
* Ensure security of endpoints, data, network access, and backup systems in alignment with organizational policy and compliance requirement.
* Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
* Closely collaborate with leaders within the Spiegelworld organization to ensure alignment of IT environments, vendors and services with business and product requirements.
* Preserve and audit system logs including the development and execution of disaster procedures, and maintain data backups.
* Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
* Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
* Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.

Requirements
* Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems.
* Expertise in data center management and data governance.
* Proficient in network management.
* Minimum of 5 years experience managing a corporate network and managing sizeable upgrade and integration projects.
Experience as a single point of contact a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and communicate technical topics to those without technical training or experience.
* Able to manage and communicate with networking and computer vendors and specialists.
* Able to maintain highest level of confidentiality with respect to system data.
* Able to plan and budget for systematic cost-effective upgrades to maintain the systems at their optimal operating level.
* Available for on-call emergencies on night or weekend hours as required.
* Following a conditional offer of employment, able to show proof of being fully vaccinated, able to get vaccinated within 7 days, or have a qualifying medical or religious exception.
* Willing to participate in employer-paid COVID-19 Mitigation protocols which include weekly testing and onsite screening.
* Must have valid work authorization for the US
