If you are a person who enjoys the excitement of the financial services industry where information IS our business and you enjoy developing software solutions, then this position is for you.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage applications/platforms and development resources in order to deliver value to the business partnersUtilize your collaborative skills to work with business partners, IT managers and staff, to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of applicationsManage the estimation process, resource allocation and delivery of changes to applications/platforms based on gathered requirements.Enforce coding standards, appropriate logging, build-out of unit test cases and perform code review to ensure application/platform stabilitySupervisory Responsibilities:Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Position Requirements:Hands-on development manager experience is a mustStrong written and verbal communication skills7+ years’ experience with end-to-end design of software applicationsPossess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy making a difference in the business through your contributionsExtensive technical experience in designing and developing complex applications, and managing the design life cycle in an enterprise environmentExperience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)Think creatively, stimulate new ideas and challenge existing thinking.
