This role reports to Group Information Systems (IS) Manager and is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

As an IS Manager, Torque ERP Practice, you will be responsible for taking full accountability for IS ERP Torque practice, and the teams delivery associated with connected programs, projects, and production support across technical plat-forms.

The Global IS Manager plays a vital role in driving the successful execution and delivery from each of the ERP domain services.

The role is responsible for the overall, end-to-end charge of the Torque ERP practice, internal process improvements across ERP IS domains, finance management of the services from this department, and accountability to deliver the platform/application services.

The position involves: Coordinating across cross-functional non-ERP systems connected to Torque ERP and closely working with other ERP landscapes across ABB.

You will be reporting to the Head of Global IS ERP applications.

Your responsibilities

• Accountable to set and drive IS services across SAP/ERP (system name Torque) and connected systems and to manage those projects, production support activities with a high professional team having a customer-centric approach.

• Ensures Torque domain teams services are delivered in time, budget, scope and quality and in line with IS and ABB Strategy.

• The ERP manager will report to head of ERP domain, and is accountable for successful deployment of ERP/SAP roadmap in working with business teams, and program teams.

• Provides guidance, consulting, knowledge to IS and ABB about the planning and the delivery of services in scope.

• Manages dependencies to other ABB departments and functional areas (stakeholder management), resolves conflicts and cross organization dependencies.

• Identify synergies and optimization areas within the ERP Domain, manage their execution, and managing the team for delivery excellence and operational excellence.

• Being compliant with internal and external regulations, policies, standards (SOX, InfoSec, Data Privacy, Data Protection, Export controls, license management, etc.).

• Assure active cooperation of the managed team with other Domain teams as well as other groups (e.

Consumer Experience, Service Performance Excellence).

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Requires 15+ years of relevant experience in IT ERP, SAP, Technology Team accountabilities and managing the functions.

• Strong experience in driving accountability for large size SAP/ERP functions, connected projects include cross-functions services and delivery.

• End to end leadership experience in managing SAP, SAP S/4 HANA, ERP teams from technical to functional application services.

• Drives the IS organization to deliver strategic initiatives and transformations within the expected time, budget and quality by providing the right tools, methodologies, and guidance and by managing the delivery through IS, the Business and external partners.

• Superior business, SAP/ERP functional acumen including industry trends.

Passion for industry trends, innovation and how other organizations are using them to drive digital business.

• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.

• Strong communication, people leadership and fearless ways to bring teams together for common effective delivery.

• SAP, ITIL, SCRUM, Lean and DevOps certification preferred.

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
