LiveRamp’s world-class communications team is looking for a skilled communications manager to help build and scale its public relations program globally.
This role comprises several core competencies, including media relations, thought leadership, speaking & events, and awards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of distilling complex topics into compelling stories to generate high-impact earned media.
Candidates should also have experience managing external agency partners, and a deep understanding of the evolving press landscape internationally.
This communications professional will not only help nurture LiveRamp’s rapport with key journalists, but will also work directly with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies to help ensure alignment with a global marketing team.
This role will report to LiveRamp’s senior manager of corporate communications.
You will:+ Assist the larger communications team in executing its global PR plan, with a heavy focus on media relations + Support and advise international teams and agency partners on corporate communications and media relations best practices + Ensure external agency partners are consistently uncovering unique and compelling stories that align closely with the LiveRamp brands and its core product suite + Contribute to the partner PR program, helping to review and promote content alongside partner marketing priorities + Assist in developing, reviewing and editing press materials that are effective, accurate and aligned to the LiveRamp brand and narrative.
This may include press releases, backgrounders, pitches, fact sheets, blogs, bylined articles and social posts + Help socialize key media or thought leadership wins across global internal stakeholders via quarterly reports, social sharing guides, email blasts and intranet posts + Provide strategic support and oversight across all press activities, including but not limited to: media interviews; webinars; and speaking opportunities + Prepare key spokespeople, as needed, for media interviews, webinars, speaking opportunities and more + Help schedule/coordinate interactions across time zones/geographies, working in lockstep with the corporate communications senior manager About you: + 3-5+ years of PR experience with a consistent record of securing media coverage across a variety of top-tier business, tech, and industry trade media + Strategic, analytical thinker with keen tactical execution skills, attention to detail, and ability to turn complex, technology-heavy topics into digestible, compelling stories + Exceptional writing skills along with strong presentation and oral communication skills + Solid relationships with tier-one journalists, ideally journalists with an international remit + Driven, self-organized team player with demonstrated project management skills and the ability to achieve objectives in the midst of competing deadlines + Demonstrated ability to work calmly and collaboratively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, maintaining good judgment and the ability to escalate appropriately + Experience supporting the launch B2B products, preferably on a global scale + Penchant for working with a diverse team across functions, levels and geographies + Comfortable interfacing with and providing guidance to high-profile internal stakeholders + BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in journalism or public relations or communications.
