Insurance and Risk Manager Role:
The Insurance and Risk Manager will be responsible for all aspects of insurance and risk management within the organization, ensuring that the high standards of the risk services organization are promoted and maintained.
Develop key relationships with our brokers/agents and customers to create a long-term business relationship through the successful renewal of accounts.
Assist in developing and maintaining the loss control program in an effort to maintain maximum protection of the company’s assets
Evaluating insurance policies and coverage enhancements 
Write detailed risk evaluation reports that provide a technical assessment and meaningful recommendations to support the reduction in insured lost exposures
Assessing risks and composing underwriting information 
Analyze loss trends, recognize opportunities to provide risk management products and/or services which can help reduce losses
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the insurance program, such as investigations, accident reports, and following up with insurance companies and attorneys
Maintain timely, relevant communications with team members, business partners and customers
Responsible for all aspects of workers’ compensation coverage and claims 
 
Insurance and Risk Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree 
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Oil and Gas industry 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
relationship through the successful renewal of accounts.
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills 
High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to plan, organize and multi-task
