HSE Manager

Global Manufacturing company is searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager just North of Statesville.nn The position is primarily Safety but does have overall Environmental Health and Safety for the site.

Bachelors Degree and a minimum 5 years of experience is preferred.

The position will report to the Plant Manager and is part of the site leadership team.

Managerial experience is preferred.nn Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate.nn n n Job Requirements: n Maintain environmental and health/safety records Conduct safety, quality and environmental training Adapt and implement corporate safety, health and environmental policies Manage and oversee environmental, health, safety and associated compliance Maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations Develop and coordinate formal system for the management of environmental health and safety issues Developing and managing a comprehensive health and safety program Analyze the impact of safety and environmental compliance on proposed projects Providing leadership and management support to health and safety staff Achieve safety through compliance/li Represent the program at professional health and safety meetings Develop and deliver regulatory required training related to health, environmental, and safety Lead or facilitate the site”s safety, quality and environmental programs Manage local health and safety program including training and recordkeeping Promote continuous improvement in safety Review and continuous improvement of sound EHS policies,procedures and programs Developing and establishing environmental programs Maintain facility environmental management system tools Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures Setting the strategic direction of Spellman”s environmental, health, safety and sustainability policies nnby Jobblenn
