The Education & Organizational Development Consultant will collaborate closely with other human resources (HR) team members, internal stake holders and external partners to provide professional developmental experiences, services and support for the Education and Organizational Development department in a healthcare organization.

This position will assist with the design, development and implementation of organizational development initiatives and corporate training development activities including but not limited to: program planning and design, project management, program content development and delivery; development of communication and change management plans; data management; research and inquiry; program scheduling and coordination; vendor management; material and resource research.

This role will tie organizational development and learning programs to organizational goals to enhance human resource capabilities.

Advanced knowledge of talent management, leadership development, human capital consulting, adult learning principles.

CPLP and coaching certification preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or eight years equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Three to five years’ experience in an organizational development (OD) and/or training environment including, development and delivery of in-house programs; facilitating and coordinating learning and leadership development programs; and developing and delivering training sessions.

Previous training or organizational developmental experience strongly preferred.

Five to eight years of client management and project management experience strongly preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None required.

Relevant HR Certification preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Lawson knowledge preferred.

Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities.
