ABOUT KNEADERS
After mastering old-world bread baking techniques, testing countless recipes, and developing a unique flour blend, our founders began baking artisan hearth breads in their hometown of Orem, Utah in 1997.
Today, every loaf of hearth bread is still made from scratch and baked in Italian hearthstone ovens.
Our menu has grown to include sandwiches, hearty soups, refreshing salads, and dozens of handmade pastries, and like our hearth breads, these menu items are made with honest, whole ingredients.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HOURLY ASSISTANT MANAGER
Teams look to their leaders to set the pace, and in the restaurant world that normally falls on the General Manager.
Problem is, even the best General Managers don’t work from open to close 6 days a week…
so they need someone to back them up when they aren’t on-site.
This is where you would come in.
As an Hourly Assistant Manager, your job will be to work hand in hand with the General Manager to ensure that there is a consistent drumbeat of habits and actions that will keep the team rowing in the same direction and working as a seamless unit to deliver amazing food and customer experiences to the people who walk in our bakeries.
Not only will your efforts be super valuable to the day-to-day operations of the location you work in, but you will also be getting the first-hand experience that will prepare you for the potential opportunity to one day move up into the Restaurant General Manager position!
You will learn and then execute our proven playbook designed to guide you in executing the best practices of Bakery/Cafe management.
This includes everything from team-building & performance, creation of some of the most amazing baked food around, inventory receiving & control, and finally financial reporting & analysis.

RESTAURANT HOURLY ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience previous Restaurant IS NOT required, but we do need you to have leadership experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (restaurants, retail, etc).
The core to your experience should be centered around driving sales, meeting operational goals, & thinking beyond what has already been done to create a better experience for teams & customers.
Resilience
– demonstrating high-level business/budget strategy techniques from labor management to food cost analysis all while providing consistent & exemplary customer service experiences.
Respect
– ability to remove obstacles by actively listening to ideas, concerns, & feedback to collaborate with corporate support partners, vendors, & customers to make changes & improvements.
