Head Varsity Football Coach; Athletic Director

BAMBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT TWOis accepting applications for the following position:2020-2021Head Varsity Football CoachResponsibilities: Coordinates the full football program varsity and JV, Involved in selection, leadership, and training of a staff of coaches at the varsity and junior varsity level Directs all phases of a successful football program including in-season, off-season, and summer;Qualifications: Possess a SC teaching certificate Knowledgeable of High School League rules and regulations Ability to inspire an enthusiastic environment within the school community; Strong organizational, fiscal management and communication skills in dealing with the many constituencies of a successful football program; Successful experience as a football coach at the high school or collegiate level.Athletic DirectorResponsibilities: Directly responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the total athletic program Recommending general policies of the department Works with Guidance Department to ensure student eligibility requirements are met Keeps records of equipment inventories for all athletic teams Processes request for equipment from all coaches Recommends coaching assignments to the principals Schedules use of all athletic facilities for athletic contest and practices. Makes all schedules and contracts Works with principals in supervising total athletic program Plans annual athletic banquet Arranges for or coordinates the personnel to handle the clocks, score book and public address system at all home athletic events Aid and gives directions to Athletic Booster Club Secures proper security for all athletic events Attends all athletic league meetings and reports back to the principals Makes certain all financial obligations are met within a reasonable time Arranges transportation for all athletic teams Attends all athletic eventsQualifications: Possess a SC teaching certificate Knowledgeable of High School League rules and regulations Ability to inspire an enthusiastic environment within the school community; Strong organizational, fiscal management and communication skills in dealing with the many constituencies of a successful athletic program; Successful experience as a high school or collegiate level coach.Interested persons should send a letter of interest and resume, including 3 references to:
