The Head of Wholesale Payments Operations Resiliency role will offer the candidate the opportunity to build out a newly formed high profile team within the Wholesale Payments Organization.
Key roles and responsibilities: Team Organization Develop operating model that provides round the clock support from the start of day in APAC on Monday (U.S.
Sunday night) through close of business in the U.S.
on Friday night Hire regional leads and team members in Tampa, Bournemouth and Bangalore to meet operating model requirements Oversee day-to-day operation and performance Discover training needs and provide coaching Incident Management – Responsibilities during a resiliency event Coordination of the Business response across Operations, Client Service & Product Execute resiliency strategies in accordance with playbook directives Identification and engagement of business leads Responsible for internal business communication plan (senior updates, setting up business bridges, employee updates, etc.) Collaboration with cross LOB partners for consistency of business impact assessment Consolidation & reporting of client impact Strategy and Planning Ensure all resiliency planning elements are completed in accordance with Firm Wide policy and strategies are appropriate to support the business during a disruptive event and to recover effectively after an event Develop playbooks for recovery decision making and communications, continuity of critical services, or temporary shut-down of non-critical services to ensure continuity of operations and governance Maintain evergreen process and procedures (e.g.
maintain list of business critical payments, regular revalidation of cross LOB communication map) Identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks Coordinate and prep regulatory asks, exams, audits, etc.
Manage Business Impact Analysis Advance the automation of Command Center functions Oversight of risks, issues & concentration/capacity gaps in strategies Understand internal / external dependencies & their risks/gaps Skills Required / Qualifications Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business / stakeholders Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships required to leverage parts of the organization as required Ability to troubleshoot and strong analytical skills required Create executive presentations (both individual slides and structured presentations) Effective change management skills; Ability to support & adapt within a changing environment Ability to lead and work independently
