Global Link Product Manager, Managing Director

Who we are looking for
The Global Link product manager (distribution portal) will accept ownership and accountability for product management and development, specification writing and business analysis efforts for Global Link’s new product distribution portal. The candidate will be directly responsible for new product functionality and idea generation across the Global Link and Global Markets business line. Other responsibilities include reviewing industry publications to identify market opportunities and trends, team leadership and providing an overall contribution to the success of GlobalLink.

What you will be responsible for
As Global Link Product Manager, MD you will

• Work within all areas of Global Markets to specifically focus on building and executing on Global Link’s distribution portal product (50%)
• Leading a team of business analysts and product stakeholders by generating and reviewing product design specifications (25%)
• Support technical conversations for management of Global Link’s product distribution port including but not limited to client relationship management, client support and IT development the distribution portal (25%)
• Demonstrate strong team leadership, team building and managerial skills
• High degree of collaboration and critical thinking
• Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role
• Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behavior
• Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making
• Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business
• Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate should have 7+ years of financial products development experience, preferably building trading portal and workflow tools

• Strong computer skills, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Visio
• Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc)
• Basic understanding of code development (React, Java, HTML5, etc)
• Basic understanding of financial messaging protocols (FIX, Swift, FDC3, etc)
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Strong technical skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of e-trading products
• Demonstrated ability to build networks and work across groups and jurisdictions
• Proven track record of driving product management, business analysis and serving clients
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Proven high ethical standard
