Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) has an opportunity for a talented individual to lead the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) audit programs for Intels Global Operations that includes auditing to contractual, legal, and statutory requirements, and EHS-related voluntary standards.
This position will report into the Global EHS Risk and Compliance Manager.
As a Global EHS Audit Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The audits include in-depth documentation and records reviews, interviews with site leadership, and physical inspections related to EHS compliance.
This includes coordination between a multi-disciplinary audit team as the lead auditor.
Identifying best management practices and share EHS learnings.
Requesting quotes for external services, managing purchase orders and invoices.
Managing access to ISO voluntary standards.
Manage external relationships with suppliers, independent contractors, and certification bodies.
Communicating significant changes to all stakeholders as needed (internally and externally).
The position will be expected to effectively document and communicate deficiencies identified to sites, stakeholders, and CS leadership.
Periodic international travel, as part of a global audit team is also required.
The position also requires routine field work in various climates, including extensive walking through industrial facilities and climbing multiple flights of industrial stairs.
This position can evolve into an organization unit manager role.
